By the way, in case anyone cares (yes, a few people have asked!) the code that is posted to this web site is released under my proprietary HJTI license. The complete text of this license follows:
------------------------
Here, just take it.
------------------------
For those of you who get your panties in a bunch about correct legal phrasing, here it is again:
----------------------------
This code is explicitly placed in the public domain. Bend, spindle, and mutilate. Caveat Emptor. YMMV. BYOB. IANAL. Have a nice day.
----------------------------
Clear?
Just like that? This would really be the "dream licence", nothing else to it? Like "You must put this block of text in every file of your program"?
In documentation, it is assumed that the examples in the docs are your to use however you see fit, without attribution or limitations, right?
Software licenses are just an annoyance to me. Yes, obviously they have their place, and we need them, but the bug me. And I hardly understand any of them.
Here. Just take it.
