A year ago today, I married my best friend. I'm delighted to report that she's still my best friend, and we're anxiously looking forward to the next 70 years. But it seems more like a month than a year.
We went to Paris a year ago. We're going to go to the other Paris this weekend. Traditions are cool things to have.

Here's hoping that it's twice as good of a day as yesterday but only half as good as tomorrow. And here's to so many more years that you forget how to count that high.
Congratulations! A year ago yesterday I did the same thing and we went over to Paris on the weekend to celebrate our first anniversary too. Such a beautiful city, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

About the link to the two Parises (Parisi?), the Google satellite view of Paris, KY looks very much like Paris, France did about 1,000 years ago. Cool!
